These are very uncertain times, aren’t they? Our lives have changed dramatically and may never be the same – and hence the uncertainty. We would like to share with you some good news that is certain and something that will bring meaning and purpose to life.

Did you know that God has a purpose and a plan for your life that includes a hope and a future – a certain hope and a certain purpose. However, the Bible tells we are not able to experience this hope and future because sin has separated us from Him. The Bible says this sin has resulted in death (spiritual separation) and that if it is not dealt with, will result in eternal death (eternally separated from God and life). No amount of good deeds or effort can pay for this sin or bridge the separation. That’s the bad news.

The good news is that Jesus Christ died for our sins to pay the debt we owed for our sin. However, this doesn’t mean that our sins are automatically “erased.” The Bible says that we must believe (place our faith and trust) in Jesus Christ as our only hope of forgiveness and eternal life. When we do, we are forgiven and enter into a personal relationship with Him. Then, and only then, will we be able to experience His certain purpose and plan for our lives.

Would you like to receive God’s gift of forgiveness and receive eternal life? It’s as simple as A, B, C.

Admit you are a sinner in need to forgiveness.
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23)
“For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23)

Believe that Jesus died for your sins.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
“For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God”  ( 1 Peter 3:18)
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Call on the name of the Lord.
As an act of your will, you ask Him to forgive you of your sins and give you eternal life.
“that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” 13 for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:9-13)

The following is a suggested prayer to help you call on the name of the Lord. It is not the words that save you - it is the desire of your heart and your faith alone in Christ.

“Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner and separated from You. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and I ask you to give me eternal life. By faith alone, I receive your free gift of forgiveness and I give my life to You.”

If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart, then you can know that you have eternal life -- a certain hope and future. So, this is not the end – this is only the beginning of a relationship with Jesus Christ!
